Neova's overnight cream. The brand calls its pairing of a DNA repair enzyme with Copper Peptide Complex DNA Cofactor, and this is that pairing in a night cream rather than a serum.
What is in it
Copper Peptide Complex, listed as Bis (Tripeptide-1) Copper Acetate, fourteenth on the ingredient list. One DNA repair enzyme, Micrococcus Lysate, fifteenth. Three ceramides, EOP, NP and AP, sixteenth to eighteenth, then sodium hyaluronate nineteenth. Those actives run consecutively through the middle of the list.
Neova's own account of the enzyme: "the liposome-encapsulated DNA repair enzyme UV-endonuclease derived from the marine microorganism Micrococcus Lysate; this UV-resistant DNA Repair Enzyme helps improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin."
The enzyme here is not the one in the day cream. Creme de la Copper carries Arabidopsis Thaliana Extract instead, so the day and night creams are not one formula relabelled.
Who Neova writes it for
In the brand's words, "all skin types, even the most sensitive, in need of overnight repair of UV damage and hydration." There is no retinol and no acid in it, which is what makes the sensitive-skin line credible. Neova states this outright in its own FAQ: Night Therapy does not contain retinol.
Use it at night, after your serum
Evenings, on clean skin, after whichever serum you use, over face and neck. That is Neova's direction in order, and the brand sells Creme de la Copper as the morning half of the same routine. Nothing goes over this one; it is the last step of the evening. Neova says face and neck, not the decollete.

What buyers say about it
Two reviewers here say it is not greasy, and a reviewer on a national retailer's listing says the same. Another puts the rest of it plainly: not an instant fix, a difference over time.
Where it fits in a routine
Last step of the evening, after cleansing and after your serum. Neova pairs it deliberately with Creme de la Copper, the day cream, and describes the two as halves of one routine: the day one on environmental protection, this one on overnight repair. Earlier in the evening, Cu3 Gentle Cleanser is the copper peptide cleanser. The rest of the line is on our Neova skincare page.
How to Use
- Cleanse in the evening. Neova's first step.
- Apply your serum and let it settle.
- Smooth Night Therapy over face and neck. Use it each evening, and let it absorb overnight.
- Nothing goes over it. It is the last step of the evening, and it carries no SPF, so sun protection belongs in your morning routine rather than here.
- Using a retinol? There is none in this cream, so they are separate steps. Our suggestion is to let the retinol dry, then apply this over it.
- Already using another Neova DNA repair product? Neova says Night Therapy can be paired with other DNA repair enzyme skincare in the same nighttime routine.
Neova Night Therapy FAQ
Does it contain retinol? No. Neova states it outright, and there is no retinol and no acid on the ingredient list. That is why the brand can write it for all skin types, even the most sensitive.
How many DNA repair enzymes are in it? One, Micrococcus Lysate, fifteenth on the list. Creme de la Copper carries a different single enzyme and the two serums in the range carry more, so the enzyme is a real difference between these products rather than a shared label.
Is it fragranced? No fragrance or parfum is on the ingredient list. Some buyers do describe a light scent, and that comes from the formula's own materials rather than an added perfume.
Can I use it with Creme de la Copper? Yes, and Neova sells them as a pair. Creme de la Copper in the morning, this one in the evening.
Do I still need sunscreen? Yes, in the morning. This is a night cream with no SPF of its own, and the UV damage it is built to work on is the damage sunscreen prevents in the first place.
Is 1.7 oz enough? Two of our reviewers mention the size, and one of them says it lasts a long time. It is used once a day over face and neck, so a jar goes further than a twice-daily moisturizer would.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Descriptions below are Neova's own.
- Copper Peptide Complex (Bis [Tripeptide-1] Copper Acetate, GHK-Cu). A proprietary delivery system that uses the body's natural protective carrier to deliver copper peptides, an essential micronutrient for skin health and strength, deep within the epidermis; essential for tissue repair and the stabilization of skin proteins.
- Micrococcus Lysate. The liposome-encapsulated DNA repair enzyme UV-endonuclease derived from the marine microorganism Micrococcus Lysate; this UV-resistant DNA Repair Enzyme helps improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
- Ceramides. Protectors of the skin's barrier, its moisture retention and environmental aggressors like irritants and pollution. Three of them here: Ceramide EOP, Ceramide NP and Ceramide AP.
- Sodium hyaluronate and vitamin E. Nineteenth and last on the ingredient list. Hydration and antioxidant support rather than the reason to buy this one.
