iS Clinical Daily Dynamic Hydrator is a 1.7 oz daily face moisturizer. On texture, iS Clinical says two different things about it. Its benefits list calls the formula lightweight, and its FAQ says the lightweight texture helps makeup glide on. Its own moisturizer comparison table, the one place it ranks its range against itself, puts this one at medium-weight, velvet cream, and gives "lightweight lotion" to a different product, Moisturizing Complex. Both descriptions are the brand's, so take the table as the comparison and the word as the feel. It sits with our firming and neck care.
If what you want is the lighter of the two, that is iS Clinical Moisturizing Complex, which the same table classes as a lightweight lotion.
iS Clinical's benefit list for it: lightweight intense hydration, cools, calms and soothes, visibly plumps and smooths, and antioxidant protection. It calls the formula a 3-in-1 and builds it on what it calls GeneXC Technology, its proprietary Extremozymes combined with a vitamin C blend. It credits sodium hyaluronate, sunflower extract and glucomannan with maintaining hydration and increasing the skin's natural moisture barrier, exosomes from plankton extract and Tripeptide-1 with visible improvement in elasticity and firmness, Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 with improving the look of firmness, wrinkles and elasticity, and two forms of vitamin B5 with restoring a healthy barrier and soothing dry, irritated skin.
Unusually for this category, iS Clinical publishes figures. Over two weeks it reports 33% improvement in hydration, 12% in elasticity, a 27% decrease in glabellar frown lines, 23% in forehead lines and 17% in periorbital lines. Read the footnote with them: it says the figures come from a two-week study of 40 subjects which also included use of its Cleansing Complex. So the numbers describe a two-product routine, not this moisturizer on its own, and iS Clinical prints that caveat itself rather than hiding it.
It also reports a separate user study on the same 40 subjects, in which 94% said hydration, lines and skin tone improved, 91% said texture improved and 89% said pore size and pigment improved. Those are people scoring themselves, with the same Cleansing Complex caveat attached. iS Clinical publishes no journal citation and no full method for either.

iS Clinical's directions are to apply it to clean skin and smooth it evenly over the face and neck. Its own FAQ adds the rest: after cleansing, a moderate amount over face and neck morning and night, and follow with an SPF in the morning. That SPF step is the brand's instruction, not our suggestion, and the FDA's own guidance on sunscreen is broad spectrum, reapplied at least every two hours when you are outdoors.
iS Clinical also lists it for all skin types, and points it in particular at dry or congested skin, and at anyone whose skin feels dry, dull or sensitive to environmental stress. For the rest of that side of the shelf, see what we stock for barrier repair.
